Teaching African history is a vital necessity for African people. But where can we learn the real history that tells the truth.  There are many amazing scholars of the past and the present that can many of our African heroes to light.  Chancellor Williams, Dr Henrik Clark, Malcolm X, Dr Martin Luther King, and many many more.  Not to mention the wonderful array of literature.  Africa is the cradle of knowledge and it is a wonderful history that has always been hidden in plain sight. Teaching inquiring minds that truly want to know about black history that can inspire self-worth in a child or adult who is black and looking for their true origins.
